Boat Parade and Summer Cookout – July 2016 Info

The Lake Metonga Association Annual Picnic will start off with a Boat Parade at 1:00 p.m.  All decorated entries are to meet in front of the Beachside Bar & Grill at the South end of Lake Metonga.  Our boat parade Marshall, Dave Patzlaff, will give each entrant a numbered card and entry form.  The boats will parade counter-clockwise around the Lake past the Judge’s Stand in Strawberry Bluff Bay.  Display the numbered card you’ve been assigned as you pass the Judges Stand.  Please parade close to the shore all around the Lake so that the judges and people around the Lake can fully appreciate your entries.

The cookout will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Beachside Bar & Grill.  A new menu of Brats, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers and Homemade Beans along with beverage will be prepared by Jason of Beachside Bar & Grill. The only cost will be a $5.00 wrist band.  Come and enjoy the good food & drink!

Also back by popular demand will be the Karcz family’s famous Crawfish/Corn boil while supplies last.

RAFFLES! – RAFFLES! – RAFFLES!

The spinning wheel will be spinning out of control with raffles during the picnic.  There will be children’s games with prizes, along with a golf chipping game and our famous Meat and Freezer raffle!

We are asking for miscellaneous items to be donated for raffle prizes to be raffled at the picnic.  Please call Gary Goeman with your donation: 414-940-8873.

Winners for the Boat Parade will be announced after all participants and judges return to Beachside.

Bring your lawn chairs and WALLETS!!

Beachside is providing entertainment & fireworks after the picnic.  The band is “Tomorrow’s Eve” and starts at 5:30 p.m.
